Stephen P. Tracey

Seekonk – Stephen “Spud” P.

Tracey, 64, Owner and President of Tracey Gear & Precision Shaft, Pawtucket, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on Friday, July 6, 2012.

He was the beloved husband of Nancy J. (Croner) Tracey for forty-one years.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Leo F. and Ann “Vonnie” V. (Galvin) Tracey, he resided in Rehoboth and Seekonk most of his life.

Steve was on the Board of the Pawtucket Redevelopment Agency for twenty-six years and was also on the Board of the Little Sisters of the Poor, Jeanne Jugan Residence, Pawtucket.

He was a thirty-five year member and Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, Council #5108, Seekonk, and served as a Eucharistic Minister at Our Lady of Mt.

Carmel Church and Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Seekonk for the past twenty-five years.

Besides his wife, he leaves three sons, Douglas S.

Tracey and his wife, Sherri, Jeffrey S.

Tracey and Gregory P.

Tracey and his wife, Anne Marie; four grandchildren, William Patrick, Jillian Ella, Sasha Noelle and Finnegan Francis Tracey; six brothers, Michael, L.

Patrick, Dennis, Richard, Terrence and Kevin Tracey; four sisters, Anne Marie Donnelly, Eileen Bodick, Susan Conley and Kathleen Di Raimo and many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Gary Tracey.

His funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Coyle Dr., Seekonk.

Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.

VISITATION will be Tuesday 4 to 8 p.m.
