Stephen J. McLaughlin

Pawtucket - Stephen J. McLaughlin, 76, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Thomas H. and Margaret M. (Rabbitt) McLaughlin.

Steve worked for many years in the flooring industry and was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed playing golf and was a member of the Rock's Golf League. Steve was a quiet man who enjoyed life's simple pleasures. He will be lovingly remembered by his family, friends and all whose lives he has touched over the past seventy-six years.

Stephen is survived by four siblings, Marilyn M. Dourado of Massachusetts, Thomas D. McLaughlin and his wife, Kathleen of Alabama, Susan M. McLaughlin and Robert J. McLaughlin and his wife, Shirley all of Rhode Island and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother-in-law of the late Myron "Chuck" Dourado.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend Services on Friday, May 8th at 11 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. VISITATION will be held on Thursday, May 7th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Interment at Mount Saint Mary Cemetery will follow.
