Stanley "Stas" Przeszlo, 67, of North Dighton passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday February 11, 2026, surrounded by friends and family.
Stas was born in Grodziskie Gorne, Poland to the late Jan and Maria (Lasek) Przeszlo. He moved with his parents and sisters to the United States in 1963.
Stas was an extremely hard worker who struggled to sit still. Throughout his life he wore many hats, from working in construction and long-distance truck driving to owning several businesses including a local pub, Brooksies, and a hauling company he operated with his son, Steven.
He leaves behind his longtime partner, Cheryl Dooley of North Dighton, with whom he spent the last 30+ years. Stas is also survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Langfield and her husband, Eric of Somerset, and his son, Steven Przeszlo and his wife, Jenna of Dighton. In addition, he leaves behind Cheryl's children, Donald Dooley and his wife, Michelle of Uxbridge, Paul Dooley and his wife, Heather of Coventry, RI and Kerrie Herath and her husband, Chris of Pawtucket, RI. He was the brother of Ann Cooper and her husband, Glen, and Virginia Przeszlo all of Rehoboth, and the uncle of Jason Cooper of Needham, MA.
Of all the hats he wore, however, none were more important to him than the hat of Dziadek or Pepere. He leaves behind a legacy of ten grandchildren that were the joys of his life and who will all miss him dearly. They are Harper, Sloane and Bristol Langfield of Somerset, Payton, Morgan and Mia Przeszlo of Dighton, Addison and Conner Dooley of Uxbridge, Hadley Dooley of Coventry and Toby Herath of Pawtucket.
VISITATION will be held on Friday, February 20th from 10 a.m. to Noon at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. SERVICES will follow at Noon in the funeral home.
