Stanley Brzozowski

April 8, 1925 — March 30, 2013

PAWTUCKET – Stanley Brzozowski, 87, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013.

He was the beloved husband of the late Evelyn D. (Gurn) Brzozowski.

Born in Norwich, Connecticut, a son of the late Joseph and Franciska (Wojnar) Brzozowski, he resided in Pawtucket most of his life.

Stan was a World War II U.S.

Army veteran and a member of the Major Walter G.

Gatchell VFW Post No. 306, Pawtucket.

He was a letter carrier for the U.S.

Postal Service until retiring in 1987 from the Darlington Station.

Stan was an active member of St.

Matthew-Trinity Lutheran Church for many years.

He leaves a daughter, Liane M.

Cornell and her husband, A.

Gary Cornell of Swansea; a son, Joseph S.

Brzozowski of Charlestown; a sister, Wanda Squadrito and three grandchildren, Jason, Jonathan and Allison Cornell.

He was the brother of the late John, Chester and Henry Brzozowski, Helen Toher, Sophie Percival and Carolyn McKitchen.

His funeral will be held Monday at 10 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by Services at 11 a.m. in St.

Matthew-Trinity Lutheran Church, 690 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Attleboro.

VISITATION will be Sunday 2 – 5 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to St.

Matthew-Trinity Lutheran Church, 690 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, RI 02861 would be appreciated.
