Sophie M. Morawiec

Pawtucket, RI - Sophie Mary (Kolodziej) Morawiec, 104, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 11, 2022 at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Felix (Phil) Joseph Morawiec. She was the daughter of the late Kashmir and Agatha (Bezak) Kolodziej. Her greatest joy was family, which she was deeply proud of - her daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren. In Sophie’s eyes, every drawing was a Picasso, every song was beautiful, and every meal you prepared for her was the best meal she ever had. Her home was welcome to all. The simple was profound, never to be taken for granted. A matriarch who cheered your success and always supported you. A best friend who would sacrifice everything for you. When she called, the sweetness of her voice made you feel like everything was going to be ok. When she sent you a card in the mail, you felt less alone.
