Shirley A. Risho

Seekonk – Shirley A. (LaCroix) Risho, 84, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 23, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late William G. Risho for fifty-seven years at the time Mr. Risho passed in 2016. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Wallace J. LaCroix and Mabel G. (Simpson) Ciccone. Shirley worked for nearly thirty years for the Seekonk School Department at both the North School and the Aitken School where she assisted with the day-to-day care and education of the many students. Above all, Shirley was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who put family ahead of all else. She loved caring for her home, her garden and her beloved pet cats and dogs. Shirley enjoyed walking, cooking, and baking, entertaining family and friends alike, and she also loved to sing and dance.
