Shirley A. Lucke

Attleboro – Shirley A. (Church) Lucke, 90, passed away peacefully at her home and with her family by her side on Wednesday, September 21, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Ernest Lucke. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Mason B. and Marion A. (Pierson) Church. Shirley worked for over thirty-three years for the City of Attleboro as an auditor until her retirement several years ago. She was a longtime and devoted member of the Memorial Baptist Church in Seekonk and over the years, has served on nearly every committee and ministry. Shirley also taught countless children in the church’s Sunday School for well over fifty years. In addition to her devotion to the church, Shirley was a member of the South Attleboro Village Lions Club and was a recipient of the Melvin Jones Award for her dedication and service to her community.
