Shirley "Yoda" L. Tomasso

Providence – Shirley “Yoda” L. (Webster) Tomasso, 70, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017.

She was the beloved wife of the late Richard “Dick” T.

Born in Hartford, CT, she was a daughter of the late Harry O. and Lillian C. (Martin) Webster.

Shirley resided in Providence and Pawtucket for many years until moving to Rehoboth two years ago.

She enjoyed playing games; bringing family and friends together, and always brought a smile to everyone’s face.

But most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Shirley leaves five children, Lori Gorman of Pawtucket, Lisa Rheaume of Seekonk, Lynn DeMoura and her husband, Fernando, of Rehoboth, Lorna O’Connor and her husband, Everett, and Richard Tomasso, Jr. and his wife, Marsha, all of Stonington, CT; two sisters, Doris Alejo and Sharon Webster; fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was the sister of the late Thomas, Robert and Beverly Webster.

Her funeral will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St.

Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave.

Interment will follow at St.

Ann Cemetery, Cranston.

VISITATION will be Wednesday 4 to 7 p.m.
