Pawtucket – Sharon A. (Anforth) Burrill, 77, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 18, 2022. She was the beloved wife of John A. Burrill for fifty-eight loving years. When the couple married, she starting using Sharon A. Burrill to match her husband, John A. Burrill. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Eric and Virginia (Scales) Anforth. Her father was in an Army foxhole in Austria when Sharon was born. In her teens, Sharon was a championship Badminton player. She had been employed by the Peerless Clothing Store; Liberty Loan Company; St. Dunstan’s School as a teaching assistant and was also the director of Rhode Island Cub Scout day camps for many years. Sharon was a member of the staff of Pawtucket Congregational Church, UCC for many years before becoming the Executive Director of The Weeden Manor, an assisted living facility.
