Pawtucket – Selena M. (Holden) Caidin, 100, a retired educator, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2011. She was the beloved wife of the late Samuel Caidin. Born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Thomas and Sarah (Noble) Holden, she resided in Pawtucket most of her life. Mrs. Caidin was a Lieutenant in the Red Cross during World War II and a graduate of URI. She leaves two brothers, Lawrence Holden of Lincoln and Thomas Holden of Cumberland and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Historic Swan Point Chapel, 585 Blackstone Blvd., Providence. Visitation and flowers are omitted. Memorials to the Samuel Caidin Fund for Children, C/O Pawtucket Public Library, 13 Summer St., Pawtucket, RI 02860 will be appreciated. For online condolences visit: www.TrippFuneralHome.com
