Martel, 48, passed away Friday September 9, 2011.
Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of Ruth A. (Johnston) Charron-Parkinson and her husband, Robin Parkinson of Hudson, FL and the late Richard A.
Charron, and the biological son of Charles V.
Martel, Sr. of Pawtucket.
He resided in Rhode Island until moving to Oregon in 2005.
Sean was an electrical engineer and served in the U.S.
Marine Corps from 1981 until 1989.
He also leaves two daughters, Nicole A.
Berman both of Cumberland; a son, Brent M.
Martel of Medford, Oregon; a grandson, Blake D.
Berman of Cumberland; five siblings, Brenda J.
Bryant of Pawtucket, Heidi L.
Abatiello and Charles V.
Martel, Jr. both in Florida, Vicki R.
Cilento of Coventry and Jeanne A.
Albuquerque in Florida; a half-sister, Melissa Martel of Pawtucket; his fiancée, Arleen Thommen of Ashland, Oregon; his former wife, Ana P.
Martel of Cumberland and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral with Military Honors will be held Saturday at 8 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in the Church of St.
Leo the Great, 697 Central Ave., Pawtucket.
Interment will follow at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
VISITATION will be Friday 4 to 7 p.m.
