Sandra Christina Riley

Westerly – Sandra C. Riley, 76, passed away on August 9, 2018 at Royal Westerly Nursing Home.  Born in Hartford, CT, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Brenda K. (Knowles) Riley. Sandra was a life-long resident of Rhode Island and lived in both Warwick and Exeter during her life.  A graduate from the University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy, she was employed by CVS as a pharmacist prior to her retirement.  Sandra was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served on active duty in support of Operation Desert Storm.  She was very proud of her military service and the legacy of veterans in her family. She is survived by a brother, William H. Riley, Jr. of El Paso, TX and several nieces and nephews.     Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.  Interment with Military Honors will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Mendon Rd., Cumberland.
