Sandra J. Plante

Pawtucket – Sandra J. (Heon) Plante, 80, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Robert Plante for forty-six beautiful years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Dora (Fairhurst) Heon. Sandra graduated from Tolman High School in 1960 and was a lifelong resident of the city. She retired in 2002 from the University of Rhode Island where she worked as a culinary chef for fifteen years. Sandra previously worked in the cafeteria at both, Cunningham Elementary School, Pawtucket, and Central High School in Providence. She was a communicant of St. Teresa Church, Pawtucket, and enjoyed dancing, camping and playing horseshoes.
