Sandra E. Dias

Seekonk – Sandra E. (Young) Dias, 69, passed away unexpectedly at home on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017. Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late William E. and Alice (Elderkin) Young, she resided in East Providence before moving to Seekonk in 1978.  Sandra was employed by the former Mount Vernon Silver Company, Division of Gorham Textron, Attleboro for over twenty-five years. She was a member of the Wampanoag Pokanoket Tribe, and enjoyed traveling and shopping. She leaves three children, Lori L. Young of Rehoboth, Gina M. Strahan and her husband, William, of Rehoboth and Manny S. Dias and his wife, Morgan, of Seekonk; her longtime companion, Jose DaRosa with whom she made her home; four siblings, Robert Stafford of Florida, formerly of North Providence, Joan Souza of Riverside, formerly of Seekonk, John Stafford of Florida and Bertha “Sis” Williston of Attleboro, formerly of Martha’s Vineyard; three grandchildren, Samuel Dias, Brandon Pimental and Amber Pimental; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and...
