Clearwater, Florida – Ruth F. (Tripp) Tucker, RN, 96, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Willis A. Tucker. Born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late William W. Tripp, Sr. and Adelia F. (Thurber) Tripp, she resided in Pawtucket until moving to Florida in January of 1983. Ruth was a graduate of Pawtucket High School and a 1941 graduate of the Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She was the proprietor of the former Tucker’s Nursing Home, South Main St., Attleboro until 1966, and was a lifetime member of The Order of the Eastern Star, Woonsocket Chapter No. 3. She leaves two daughters, Ruth F. Hopper and her husband, Walter, of Clearwater, FL and Roberta A. Williams of Seminole, FL; four grandchildren, Ruth F. Mori of Natick, MA, David W. Hopper of Harvard, MA, Joseph W. Williams, Jr. of Lakeland, FL and Michael L. Williams of Seminole, FL and nine great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late William W.
