Corpus Christi, Texas – Ruth L. (Morrison) Lynch, 97, formerly of Lincoln, Rhode Island, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2023.

She was the beloved wife of the late Francis L.

Born in New London, Connecticut, she was a daughter of the late William G. and Emma R. (DeMoura) Morrison.

Ruth worked as a secretary for Swank Inc., Attleboro, MA, until her retirement in 1973.

She was a Mercy Associate with the Sisters of Mercy.

She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed.

Ruth leaves two sons, Alan F.

Lynch  of Gilbert, Arizona, and Gary W.

Lynch  of Corpus Christi, Texas; four grandchildren, Christopher Lynch, Kimberly Johnston, Adrianna Hagan and Katherine Johnson; four great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Johnston, Macallan Johnston, Michael Hagan and Christian Hagan; three great-great-grandchildren Elizabeth Hagan, Carley Hagan and Owen Hagan; a brother, Richard Morrison, and many nieces and nephews.

Ruth was the sister of the late William G.

Morrison, Jr., and Sr.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. at St.

Pius X Church, 5620 Gollihar Rd., Corpus Christi, Texas.

Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, July 27th at 10:00 a.m. at Mount St.

Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

Visitation and flowers are respectfully omitted.

Memorial donations can be made to St.

Patrick’s Academy, 244 Smith St., Providence, RI 02908.

Arrangements are entrusted to Cheetham Funeral Home, Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
