Russell E. Taskey, Jr.

Pawtucket - We are sad to announce the passing of Russell Edward Taskey, Jr. of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, formerly of Deerfield Beach, Florida and Danvers, Massachusetts. Russell died at eighty-eight years of age on Saturday, September 3, 2022. Born on December 11, 1933 to the late Russell, Sr., and Margaret (Drab) Taskey in Cleveland, Ohio, Russell lived a rewarding professional and personal life. After graduating John Adams High School in Cleveland with honors in 1951, Russell entered the US Air Force Flight Training School and finished first in his class, earning his wings and commission. During his time in the Air Force, he flew transport planes across the US, Europe and Asia during the Korean War and was honorably discharged due to a serious injury. Russell then went on to graduate with honors from Miami University in Oxford Ohio in 1962.
