Russell F. Lepage

December 27, 1925 — July 30, 2017

LePage, 91, formerly of Seekonk for over 60 years, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2017.

He was the beloved husband of the late Eleanor T. (Webster) LePage.

Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Aldor E. and Eloise (Darling) LePage.

Russell was a graduate of Woonsocket High School and attended the Rhode Island School of Design.

He was a United States Army Air Corp veteran of World War II, where he earned the rank of Sargent, while serving in the Pacific Theatre of Operations and was a member of the American Legion Post #311, Seekonk.

Russell was a Charter Member of the American Air Museum in Great Britain; a Charter Member of the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C., and the Chairman of the Air Force Association.

Ballou Co., East Providence, as the foreman, for many years until his retirement in 1987.

Russell was a member of A.F. & A.M.

Masonic Order in Seekonk, and a past-advisor for the Order of DeMolay, where he was awarded the Cross of Honor for his service.

He served as a Past-president of Cherry Hill Acres Community Association; Seekonk Citizen Scholarship Foundation and the North Seekonk Jr.

Russell was also involved in various basketball and baseball leagues in Woonsocket, Pawtucket and Attleboro.

He was a member of the former St.

Martin Episcopal Church, Pawtucket, where he served on the Food Closet for many years.

In his free time, Russell was an avid golfer and a member of the United States Golf Association.

Russell leaves two sons, Russell J.

LePage and his wife, Karen, of South Berwick, Maine and Scott A.

LePage and his wife, Sheila, of Warwick; four grandchildren, Sarah Crofton, A.J., Kristen and Kelsey LePage and two great-grandchildren, Callen and Desmond LePage.

He was the brother of the late Eloise Bergesson and Edith Smith.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Graveside Service with Military Honors on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Seekonk Cemetery, Newman Ave. (Rt. 152), Seekonk.

Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
