Ruben M. Simas

Rehoboth – Ruben M. Simas, 29, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2017 with family by his side. Born on Sao Miguel, Acores, Portugal, he was the son of Duarte and Eusebia (Pontes) Simas of Rehoboth. Ruben participated in many services and activities with his friends and caregivers in the Cerebral Palsy and Special Needs communities. He enjoyed watching TV programs and especially enjoyed spending time with his family and dear friends. Ruben will always be remembered as a kind and gentle soul, with a warm smile and all around happy disposition, even while battling his physical disabilities. Besides his beloved parents, Ruben also leaves his loving sister, Claudia S. Simas and her loving companion, Anthony Williams, of Rehoboth; his beloved God-Mother, Grace Pereira; a cousin, Joao Victor Pontes and many more beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
