Rose V. Ovoian

North Providence – Rose V. (Markarian) Ovoian, 92, formerly of South Attleboro, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016. She was the beloved wife of Philip Ovoian for 69 years. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Harotune and Antaram (Berberian) Markarian. Rose was a graduate of Pawtucket High School East and attended the former Hubbard Business School in Pawtucket. For excellence in high school academics, she was inducted into the Rhode Island Honor Society. She worked as an executive assistant at both Brown and Bryant Universities for many years. Rose was a member of the Ladies Guild at Sts. Vartanantz Church in Providence. She enjoyed to play cards, watch Wheel-of-Fortune and loved to cook. Above all, she was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Besides her loving husband, Rose leaves a daughter, Marjorie L.
