Rose M. Gilligan

Pawtucket – Rose M. (Sarvia) Gilligan, 76, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 30, 2020. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond J. Gilligan. Born in Attleboro, she was a daughter of the late Frank A. and Mary (Arruda) Sarvia. Rose worked for twenty-six years as a collections clerk for the City of Pawtucket until her retirement in 2012. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends taking road trips to Florida and frequent visits to “The Track” in Lincoln. Rose was an independent woman who loved life and having fun. Above all, she was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be lovingly remembered by all her family and dear friends. Rose leaves a daughter, Kelley Gilligan of Pawtucket; four grandsons, Michael and Steven Stec, Tyler and Dylan Altonian; six great-grandchildren, Javivana, Amyra, Veronica, Oliver, Charlotte and Kinsey and many nieces and nephews.
