Rose M. Bernard

Pawtucket - Rose M. (LaCascio) Bernard, 89, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. Born in Providence, Rose was a daughter of the late Louis and Catherine (O’Connell) LaCascio. Rose worked for many years at Hord Tool & Die Company in Pawtucket, and she also served as the treasurer of the Riverside Village Tenants Association. She enjoyed playing Bingo and coordinated the Bingo at Riverside Village for many years. Rose enjoyed spending time with her family and dear friends, reading and spending her summers camping at Sutton Falls Campground in Sutton, Massachusetts. Rose will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she has touched over the past eighty-nine years. She leaves two children, James D. Bernard of Barrington, and Joanne Sheeley of Warwick; four grandchildren, Joshua Sheeley, Stephanie Bernard, Katherine Merullo, and Jaime Walker; two sisters, Rita Andreason in Texas, and Jeanette LaCascio of Smithfield, and many nieces and nephews.
