Rosa E. Pereira

Pawtucket – Rosa E. (Gomes) Pereira, 89, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 2, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Jose I. Pereira for sixty-four years. Born on the island of Faial, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Joao and Rosa (Vargas) Gomes. Rosa immigrated to the U.S. in 1970 and settled in Pawtucket with her family. She dedicated her life tending to her home, children and grandchildren. Rosa was a devout communicant of St. Anthony Church in Pawtucket and lived her life according to her faith. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and spending time with her family. She is survived by her loving son, Joe E. Pereira and his wife, Denise, of Pawtucket and her three beloved grandchildren, Gregory, Derrick and Zachary Pereira. She was the sister of the late Seraphim T. Gomes, Maria T. Duarte, Joao T.
