Schenectady, New York - Ronald J.

Tavis, Jr., 43, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 6, 2015.

Born in New York City, he was a son of Ronald J.

Tavis, Sr. and the late Patricia E.

Ron had resided in Rehoboth, MA, Rhode Island and Nevada before returning to New York over five years ago.

He was currently employed by Acute Care Gases, New York and was previously employed by Upstate Modular Transport, Fed Ex, Robbins Company and Jostens.

Ron loved to play pool and was a member of UPA Albany County Pool and Billiards.

He was an avid Yankees fan; Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed the outdoors.

He leaves a brother, Dennis E.

Dupre, Jr. of Pawtucket; two nephews, Kyle and Cris Dupre both of North Dakota; a goddaughter, Krista Deslauriers of Central Falls; a grandfather and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment at Highland Memorial Park, Johnston will be PRIVATE.
