Pawtucket – Ronald F. Slovak, 76, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Barbara A. (Angiolillo) Slovak. The couple had been married for fifty-two years. Born in Lewiston, Maine, the son of the late Frank J. and Marguerite M. (Couture) Slovak, he resided in Pawtucket for the past fifty years. Ron was a proud Vietnam Era Navy veteran. He was the Chief Financial Officer of Rhode Island Interlocal Risk Management, East Providence, retiring in 2011. Ron was active in sports throughout his life. He was an avid golfer, and a New England sports fanatic. He loved the Celtics and Patriots, but nothing made him happier than cheering on his beloved Red Sox at Fenway, where he held season tickets for the last 50 years. He was a voracious reader, loved his time with family at Hills Beach, Maine, and after retiring, being a snowbird with Barbara in Bradenton, FL for the last ten years.
