Ronald P. Skurka

Pawtucket – Ronald P. Skurka, 68, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 12, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Suzanne (Taveira) Rigley-Skurka. Born in Cumberland, he was a son of the late John and Irene (Henault) Skurka. Ron served in the United States Navy veteran during the Vietnam Era. He was a lineman for the former Blackstone Valley Electric Co., now National Grid, for over 30 years. Ron was the proprietor of the Polish-American Citizens Club, Annie St., Pawtucket for nearly 20 years. He was a member and past-president of the F.O.P.A., Lodge #4, Pawtucket; a knight at the St. Thomas Knights of Columbus Council #1472, Valley Falls, and a former member of the Sons of Italy, Pawtucket. Ron was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing cards. He followed all of the New England sports teams and enjoyed tinkering with just about anything.
