Johnson, 74, of Seekonk, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 24, 2016.
He was the loving husband of Mary A. (Croke) Johnson for 48 years.
Born in Pawtucket, he was the last son of Dorothy Cotton (Armington) Roberts and George Charles Johnson.
Ronald owned and operated R.
Johnson Landscaping Service.
He was a perfectionist and his work reflected that.
Ronald’s work ethic and his beautiful artistry were second to none.
He was a very honorable businessman, hard worker and tough teacher.
He has passed his knowledge onto several people, who have moved on to have their own successful businesses and credit their success to him.
Ronald has always been a loving man with his family and friends.
He will be missed by so many and forgotten by none.
One of Ronald's favorite places to be was by the ocean with his wife, Mary.
They enjoyed much time together and with family.
Besides his beloved wife, Ronald leaves two daughters, Deborah M.
Collingwood and Sharon A.
Propatier and her husband, Kreg L. all of Seekonk; a son, Dean R.
Johnson, Sr. and his wife, Jo-Ann of Pawtucket; four grandchildren, Dean, Jr., Brittany, Miranda and Hunter; two great-grandchildren, Aiden and Payton; a brother and sister-in-law, Gary Johnson, Sr. and his wife, Margaret of East Providence and several nieces and nephews, including, Gary Jr. & Missy, Ray & Denise, Michael & Gail and Cindy & Jeff .
He was the brother of the late Mary Elizabeth (Johnson) Akers.
His funeral will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt.
Carmel Church, 984 Taunton Ave., Seekonk.
Interment will follow at St.
John Cemetery, Attleboro.
VISITATION will be Wednesday 5 to 8 p.m.
