Ronald "Gov" J. Labree, Sr.

Pawtucket – Ronald “Gov” J.

LaBree, Sr., 62, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2011.

He was the beloved husband of Joanne (Batista) LaBree for forty-four years.

Born in Attleboro, a son of the late Francis W. and Dorothy (LeBrun) LaBree, he resided in South Attleboro before moving to Pawtucket in 1975.

He was a member of the Laborers Union Local 271.

A devoted grandfather, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and attending their activities.

Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Ronald J.

LaBree, Jr. and his wife Barbara; a daughter, Robin L.

LaBree; two grandchildren, Timothy J. and Kamryn A.

LaBree and two brothers, Francis A. and William R.

LaBree all of Pawtucket.

He also leaves several nieces and nephews including Michelle Houle of North Attleboro and Colleen and Robert LaBree both of Pawtucket.

His funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Church of St.

Leo the Great, 697 Central Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.

VISITATION will be Wednesday 5 – 8 p.m.
