Hardy, 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.

He was the beloved husband of Loretta A. (Bousquet) Hardy for nearly sixty-three years.

Born in Norton, Massachusetts, he was an only child of the late Joseph G. and Florina (Berthelette) Hardy.

Ronald was a longtime communicant of Holy Family Parish and a lifelong resident of the city.

He worked at Jeanne Jugan Residence Home for twenty-seven years in the maintenance department.

Upon retiring, he continued to work in the maintenance field with Aid Maintenance Co., Inc., Pawtucket, until fully retiring in 2010.

A simple, family man, Ron kept busy doing yard work and enjoyed traveling, shopping and dining with his wife always by his side.

Besides his beloved wife, he is survived by three children, Richard R.

Hardy and his wife, Lorraine, of Cumberland, Michael P.

Hardy and his wife, Melanie, of East Providence and Susan M.

Lizotte and her significant other, E.J.

Smith, of Burrillville; five grandchildren, Stephanie, Catherine, Mathew, Julia and Angela; three brothers-in-law, Albert E.

Bousquet of Pawtucket, Gerard Bousquet of North Carolina and Roland Bousquet and his wife, Lavaugn, also of North Carolina, and several nieces and nephews.

He was the father of the late Paul R.

His funeral will be held on Monday, beginning with visitation at 9:30 a.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St.

Joseph Church of Holy Family Parish, 195 Walcott St., Pawtucket.

Interment with his late son will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Ave., Pawtucket.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to HopeHealth Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 would be appreciated.
