Ronald J. Hanley

Pawtucket – Ronald J. Hanley, 77, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2011. Born in Providence, the son of the late Lester and Catherine (Carroll) Hanley, he resided in Pawtucket most of his life. Ron was a Korean War Air Force veteran. He was employed by the Carol Cable Company for many years until its closing. Ron was an avid sports fan, he especially loved the St. Louis Cardinals. He leaves a daughter, Sheryl J. Pandolfi; two sons, Steven R. Hanley and Christopher M. Hanley; his former wife, Susan Y. (Amaral) Vachon and three grandchildren all of Pawtucket. Services with Military Honors will be held Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 1 p.m. at the WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will be at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Visitation is omitted.
