Ronald A. Bedard

Pawtucket – Ronald A. Bedard, 75, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 13, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Carol C. (Capron) Bedard for 48 years. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Omer and Irene (Gobielle) Bedard. Ronald was a US Navy Korean War veteran, having served aboard the USS Saratoga as a “Plank Owner” and member of her first crew. He worked for W.F. Culton Motor Express before retiring and was a member of the Teamsters, Local 151. Ronald enjoyed playing cards and reading the National Geographic. Besides his loving wife, he leaves a sister, Shirley Kirsch of Fredonia, PA and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Services on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. VISITATION will be Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at WILLIAM W.
