Roland H. Marcotte, Sr.

Pawtucket - Roland H. Marcotte, Sr., 90, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, May 11, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Barbara M. (Titus) Marcotte, who passed in 2024. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Napoleon and Roseana (Tourigny) Marcotte.

Roland served in the National Guard and went on to a career at Teknor Apex in Pawtucket, for many years until his retirement. He will be remembered as a pillar of strength and a man of his word. Roland was a wise and cherished man, who loved to share his life stories and joke around. He was a true family man who loved to spend time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be missed immensely, but the family finds peace knowing he is reunited with his late wife and children.

Roland is survived by four grandchildren, Adam Marcotte, Nicole Dupont, Michael and Brittney Mikolajczyk; five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his two children, Roland H. Marcotte, Jr. and Robin L. Coggins, and his siblings, Pete Marcotte, Albert Gerard, Charles Marcotte, Jerry Marcotte, Florence Vensky, Lena Rouillard, Desire Marcotte, and Jeannine Craik.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend Committal Services on Friday, May 22nd at 11 a.m. at Notre Dame Cemetery Chapel, 359 Daggett Ave., Pawtucket. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Roland's name to HopeHealth Hospice, 1085 N. Main Street Providence, RI 02904.
