Providence – Roger O.

Masse, 85, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.

He was the beloved husband of Joan M. (Dube) Masse for thirty-three beautiful years.

Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Ozarias and Marie (Picard) Masse.

Roger grew up in Pawtucket and lived in North Providence for over thirty years.

He worked at the former Roger Williams Foods, Inc. and Supervalu for over thirty years prior to retiring in 2000.

Roger was a proud member of the Teamsters, Local 251 for many years.

He was an avid college football fan and loved the New York Yankees and Dallas Cowboys.

Roger will be lovingly remembered as a kind man who adored spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Lisa Scalzo of West Greenwich; a son, Roger C.

Masse of Johnston; a stepdaughter, Lisa Stiles of North Providence; a stepson, Christopher Stiles and his wife, Elise, of Cranston; five beloved grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Donald, Robert and Ernie Masse and Pauline Potvin.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend visitation on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Johnston, will be private.
