Roger A. Lemoie

Pawtucket – Roger A. Lemoie, 85, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Rosario “Curly” Lemoie and Clara (Marchand) Lemoie, the husband of the late Brenda S. (Farrell) Lemoie, and the brother of Paul Lemoie.  He was a caring and devoted father to his three sons, David, James (deceased) and Robert (deceased).  He raised his children by example, showing his love for them by living a life of honesty, decency, diligence, and old-fashioned hard work. Roger was a kind soul who often wore his heart on his sleeve.  In fact, those close to him would say that he died of a broken heart.  Fiercely independent, hale, and robust until the age of 83, he struggled spiritually and ultimately physically during the last two years of his life after his sons, James and Robert, died suddenly and only one month apart in 2020.  Nonetheless, by sheer determination and grit, he lived independently at home until his final dying days.
