Rocco M. Pardi

Pardi, 73, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, September 17, 2018.

He was the beloved husband of Sandra A. (LaBrie) Pardi for forty-eight years.

Born in Portland, Maine, a son of the late Anthony and Barbara (Duran) Pardi, he was raised in Pawtucket and had resided in North Attleboro before moving to Attleboro in 1999.

Rocco was a Vietnam Era U.S.

Navy veteran, serving mainly in Morocco.

He was a member of American Legion Post 312, South Attleboro and the Attleboro Lodge of Elks #1014.

Rocco was an engineer at Texas Instruments for thirty-eight years until retiring and was most recently a Textile Expert at Quaker Fabric, Fall River until the plant closed in 2008.

Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Marianne Newell and her husband, Tom, of Trumbull, CT and Tara Charette and her husband, Greg, of Seekonk, MA; two grandsons, Tommy and Rocco Newell; a brother, Joseph A.

Pardi of Pawtucket, RI; his dearest cousins, Joyce and Gerry Biancuzzo of Warren, RI and his brother-in-law, Robert LaBrie of Greenville, RI.

He was the brother of the late Mary, Barbara and John Pardi and the godfather of the late Robbie Higgins.

His funeral with Military Honors will be held Friday at 10 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St.

Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave.

Interment will follow at Mt.

Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.

VISITATION will be Thursday 4 to 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Alzheimer’s Association, 245 Waterman St., Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906 would be appreciated.
