Rocco Dipaola

Attleboro – Rocco DiPaola, 92, of 50 Tyson Place, South Attleboro, MA, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Virginia H. (Wilbur) DiPaola. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Giovanni and Cesarina (Caporella) DiPaola. Rocco was proud to have served in our armed forces during World War II as a member of the United States Marine Corps. He saw action in Saipan; Guam; American and British Samoa; Okinawa and Guadal Canal. He worked at Texas Instruments, Attleboro for many years until retiring in 1983. He is survived by three sons, John and his wife, Elizabeth, Ronald and his wife, Gloria and his youngest son, Stephen. He is grandfather to six grandchildren, Kimberly and Timmy, Melissa and Christine and Kristy and Matthew; great-grandfather to seven, Andrew and Ty, Connor and Sera, Emily and Delaney and Morgan Patrick. He was the loving brother to Antoinette, Eva, Aurora, Arthur, Raino, Mario and Lana. Funeral Services at the request of Rocco will be private. Arrangements...
