Robert "Bob" T. Beckmann

Robert “Bob” Theodore Beckmann, 84 of Attleboro, MA, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on Monday, July 9, 2018. He leaves his wife, Constance Brousseau Beckmann, his best friend, and companion of 35 years. Bob was born and raised in Westlake, Ohio, to the late Theodore and Esther (Deffner) Beckmann. Mr. Beckmann was an elementary school teacher and principal for 32 years. Serving at Grace Lutheran School, Bronx, NY, St. John's Lutheran School, Elyria, Ohio, and St. Paul's Christian Day School, Providence, RI. He was an Alumnus of Concordia University, River Forest, Illinois, and received his Master’s in Elementary Education from Rhode Island College. Mr. Beckmann had been secretary for the board of regents of Concordia College, Bronxville, NY. He was an accomplished organist and choir director for several Lutheran churches at which he served as teacher and principal.
