Pawtucket – Robert H. Roy, 79, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2015. He was the beloved husband of the late Merilda L. (Baron) Roy. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Francis and Dorothy (Glancy) Roy. Bob was a Korean War U.S. Army veteran. He was employed as a crane operator at Metals Processing, East Providence for thirty years until retiring. Bob was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Thomas Council 1472, Cumberland; Life member of LeFoyer, Pawtucket and enjoyed golfing and playing cards at Stone-E-Lea, Attleboro. He leaves five sons, Robert T. Roy and his wife, Carol of Seekonk, Thomas W. Roy of Port St. Lucie, FL, James A. Roy and his wife, Janet of Seekonk, Kenneth W. Roy of Pawtucket and Paul J. Roy and his wife, Nancy of Cumberland; a daughter, Theresa Y. Brousseau of Rumford; five brothers, William, John, Thomas, Ted and Randy Roy; two sisters, Joan Trahan and Dorothy George; eleven grandchildren and a great-grandson.
