Pelletier, 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 27, 2013.

He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara J. (Kelly) Pelletier.

Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Louis and Sarah (Adams) Pelletier.

Army veteran of the Korean War and he worked as a draftsman and designer at FRAM, East Providence, until retiring in 1991.

He was a longtime communicant of St.

Teresa Church; member of the bowling league at East Providence Lanes and a coach for Darlington American Little League.

Robert was an avid card player and also enjoyed playing tennis.

Above all he was a devoted and loving father and grandfather.

He leaves three children, R.

Andrew Pelletier, and his wife, Karen Colucci-Pelletier of Milton, MA, Loretta Carnes and her husband, Paul of Cumberland and Michelle Desimone and her husband, Michael of Ridgefield, CT; a brother, Edward Pelletier and his wife, Joan of Pawtucket; twelve grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Mary-Ann Johnson and his siblings, Paul Pelletier, Dorothy Pelletier, Theresa Guiliani, Claire Holleran and Jeannette Fournier.

His funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from the CHEETHAM Funeral Home, 1012 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.

Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave.

Interment will follow at St.

VISITATION will be Wednesday 4 to 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to The ALS Association, RI Chapter, 2915 Post Rd., Warwick, RI 02886 will be appreciated.
