Cumberland – Robert F.
Parker – 69, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2020.
Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Frank, Jr. and Elizabeth (Nixon) Parker.
Bob worked for many years in the CVS warehouse until his retirement.
He resided in Cumberland and was highly active in his community.
Bob was a longtime volunteer for the Cumberland Boys & Girls Club and the chairperson of the Cumberland Fest Committee.
He had a passion for classic and antique automobiles and coordinated the annual classic car show at the Cumberland Fest, held at Diamond Hill State Park.
Bob was also a longtime firefighter for the Berkeley District Fire Department in Cumberland.
Besides his commitment to the Cumberland community, Bob was a very devoted and loving dad, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
Bob especially enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his lifelong friend and mother of his children, Cheryl L.

Sawka of North Stratford, NH, Matthew S.
Sawka of Cumberland, Kelly of Cumberland, Kevin L.
Parker and his fiancée, Holliann Rodrigues of Burrillville; Kimberly L.
Parker-Skutt and her husband, Kevin, of Carver, MA and Zachary R.
Parker of Burrillville; siblings, Frank Parker, III and his wife, Carol, of East Providence, Bruce Parker of Pawtucket, Deb Prior and her husband, Michael, of Richmond, RI and Edward Parker, Sr. and his wife, Donna, of Spring Hill, FL; twelve grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Donald Parker, James Parker, Susan Landry and John Parker.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend VISITATION on Sunday, October 4, from 2 to 5 p.m. at WILLIAM W.
