Robert D. Marchetti

Seekonk – Robert D. Marchetti, 77, formerly of Stratford, CT and Mashpee, MA, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Thursday, December 11, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Cynthia C. (Bradley) Marchetti for 51 years. Born in Bridgeport, CT, he was a son of the late Cleeko and Ann (Tedesco) Marchetti. Bob was a graduate of Stratford High School and later received his BA of Business from the University of Bridgeport. He served his country in the United States Army and was the co-owner of Miller Golf, Rockland, MA, with his late brother Dick Marchetti. Bob was a proud member of both the Pawtucket and New Seabury Country Clubs, where he enjoyed his favorite past-time with his many dear friends. He was passionate about cookbooks, restaurants and most of all eating good food. Bob was an avid woodworker and the heirloom quality furniture he created will be cherished forever.
