Pawtucket – Robert J.
Kerle, 101, formerly of Blackburn St., passed away Friday, March 18, 2016.
He was the beloved husband of Yvonne T. (Marcoux) Kerle for over sixty-nine years.
Born in Newton, MA, the son of the late Joseph J. and Mary (Bugnon) Kerle, he resided in Woonsocket before moving to Pawtucket in 1947.
Bob was a World War II U.S.
Army veteran and a cartographer for the Department of Defense for 30 years before retiring in 1979.
He was a member of the DAV where he was involved in many parades; Life member of LeFoyer; member of NARFE and a former member of St.
Teresa and Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Senior Groups.
He was an avid bowler at East Providence Lanes where he rolled a strike on his 100th birthday.
Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Linda A.
Ferreira and her husband, Dan of Attleboro; two grandsons, Daniel Ferreira and his wife, Marissa of Millbury, MA and Ryan Ferreira and his wife, Heather of Cranston and four great-grandchildren, Olivia, Owen, Greyson and Graham Ferreira.
VISITATION will begin Monday, MARCH 28TH at 9 a.m. at WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in the Church of St.
Leo the Great, 697 Central Ave., Pawtucket.
Interment with Military Honors will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
