Robert W. Gervais

Palm Springs, CA – Robert W. Gervais, 77, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Paul E. and Jeannette B. (Pruneau) Gervais. Upon graduation in 1965 from Hope High School, Providence, Robert became a Brother of the Poor of St. Francis at Mt. Alverno. He studied nursing at the Community College of Rhode Island and worked as a registered nurse for the VA Medical Center, Providence. Robert relocated to California in 1979 and continued his work with patients at the Martinez VA Medial Center in Northern California until his retirement. Robert enjoyed socializing, dining out and spending time with friends. He is survived by his brother, Ronald Gervais of Pawtucket; an uncle, Normand Pruneau and his wife, Janet, of North Providence and several cousins.
