Seekonk – Robert E. Gendreau, 80, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 9, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Norma M. (Poirier) Gendreau for fifty-eight years. Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Armand and Lucy (Lagasse) Gendreau, he resided in the Hebronville section of Attleboro before moving to Seekonk in 1969. Bob was a U.S. Air Force Korean War veteran, and a member of the 109th Signal Battalion National Guard and the Seekonk American Legion Post No. 311. He was employed by Texas Instruments until retiring in 1994 and was most recently a delivery driver for Empire Auto Parts until this past November. Bob had previously been employed by Teknor-Apex. He was a member and Past Exalted Ruler of the Attleboro Lodge of Elks No. 1014 and a charter member of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Senior Saints. Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Robert E.
