Robert "Bob" G. Armour

East Greenwich – Robert “Bob” G. Armour, 84, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 11, 2023. He was the beloved partner of Michael L. Ellis for over fifty years. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late John P. and Ruth A. (Morin) Armour. Bob grew up in Pawtucket and North Attleboro, MA, prior to relocating to East Greenwich over forty years ago. He graduated from North Attleboro High School in 1958 and continued his studies in Education at both, Bridgewater State University and Brown University, where he earned a Master of Education degree. Bob was a schoolteacher for the Providence School Department for many years prior to retiring. He was a member of nearly every community theatre in Rhode Island, and was the assistant house manager at the PPAC in Providence for nearly thirty-five years.
