Pawtucket – Robert N.

Forest, 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, August 6, 2017.

He was the beloved husband of Emilie C. (Broberg) Forest for fifty-seven years.

Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Alphonse and Laura (Belair) Forest.

Bob resided in Pawtucket most of his life, and had also resided in Lincoln and Sarasota, Florida.

He was a graduate of Pawtucket East High School; 1958 graduate of Brown University and received his Master’s Degree from Rhode Island College in 1975.

Bob was a Korean War U.S.

Army veteran and a member of the American Legion.

He was a Consultant in Vocational Education for the Rhode Island Department of Education for many years until retiring.

Bob was a longtime member of St.

Paul’s Episcopal Church.

Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Robert J.

Forest; a daughter, Susan Barnes and four grandchildren, Rachael and Matthew Forest, Jonathan and Julia Barnes and many nieces and nephews.

He was the father of the late William, Thomas and James Forest and the brother of the late Rita McKenna, Florence DeMagestris and Roland Forest.

VISITATION will be Saturday  9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Requiem Eucharist at 11 a.m. in St.

Paul’s Episcopal Church, 50 Park Place, Pawtucket.
