Robert D. Durand, Sr.

Pawtucket – Robert D. Durand, Sr., 76, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, March 7, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Jane F. (Howe) Durand for 55 years. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of the late William J. Durand, Sr. and Beatrice C. (LaPalme) Durand.  Bob was a United States Army veteran from the Vietnam era and went on to a successful career as a plumber and electrician.  Later in life he became the sole proprietor of Custom Heating & Crown Electric. Additionally, he was the co-owner of the former Bobby’s Banquet Hall in Pawtucket. Bob loved music, and spending time with family & friends – especially during the Christmas and holiday seasons. He enjoyed taking trips to visit his two sons in North and South Carolina. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
