Robert J. Dunne

Pawtucket – Robert J. Dunne, 57, a retired Lieutenant with the Providence Fire Department, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 2, 2011, while vacationing in Florida. He was the beloved husband of Suzanne (Healey) Dunne for twenty years. Born in Providence, a son of the late Richard B. and Mary W. (Dillon) Dunne, he resided in Providence until moving to Pawtucket over 30 years ago. Besides his wife he leaves a brother, Richard Dunne of Wakefield and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Kenneth J. Dunne. His funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. Leo the Great, 697 Central Ave., Pawtucket.
