Robert J. Douyette

Robert J. Douyette, 80, of Halifax, Massachusetts and formerly of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. Born in Newport, Rhode Island, he was the son of the late Joseph and Rosalie M. (Dion) Douyette.  Bob graduated from Whitman-Hanson Regional High School, Whitman, Massachusetts and then served in the United States Marine Corps and the United States Air Force. He was a graduate of Lowell Technical Institute with a degree in accounting and was also a graduate of Bentley College. Bob was employed by the Internal Revenue Service as a corporate auditor for over twenty years until retiring. He leaves his girlfriend, Patricia “Tricia” Cruickshank and his cousins, Elizabeth “Betty” Krause and her husband, Eugene, Joan Coyle and her husband, John and Donald Lee. Relatives and friends are invited to a Committal Service on Monday, July 1st at 12:30 p.m. at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel, 550 Wampanoag Trail, East Providence.
