Robert W. Berg

Seekonk, MA – Robert W.

Berg, 92, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024 in his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth P. (Stiles) Berg for nearly seventy-three beautiful years.

Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Arno R. and Bessie F. (Wright) Berg.

A 1949 graduate of East Providence High School, Robert served his country as a Ranger Airborne in the U.S.

He worked as the building superintendent at the former Pawtucket Times for thirty years.

A jack of all trades, Robert was multi-talented in several trades including wood carving and was a master mechanic.

He enjoyed tending to his garden, fishing, hunting and spending quality time with his family.

Besides his beloved wife, he is survived by four children, Elizabeth C.

Hicks and her husband, Paul, of Chepachet, Joyce A.

Rubel and her husband, Thomas, of Seekonk, David W.

Berg of Pawtucket and William A.

Berg and his wife, Donna, of Seekonk; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and a brother, Donald C.

Berg and his wife, Ann, of South Carolina.

He was the father of the late Robert D.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Services on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in Memorial Baptist Church, 340 Central Ave., Seekonk.
